The second Ferrari Future Day at Maranello Motors was a complete success – a day full of enthusiasm, passion, and unforgettable experiences. 28 young people accepted the invitation and were able to gain insight into the daily tasks of an automotive mechatronics engineer at Ferrari and take a look behind the scenes at Maranello Motors.
The day began at 10 a.m. with an inspiring company presentation, immersing the young people in Ferrari's rich history. The brand's legendary stories, coupled with the exclusive atmosphere of the dealership, ensured sparkling eyes and eager anticipation from the very beginning. Following this, the participants could look forward to three interactive workshops that challenged both their technical understanding and problem-solving skills. At the same time, these workshops generated excitement and a high level of entertainment.
A special highlight was the technology workshop. Here, the young talents were able to conduct practical exercises on the Ferrari Purosangue and SF90 Stradale models to learn essential basic knowledge of an automotive mechatronics engineer at Ferrari. The enthusiasm was immense, as for many of them, it was the first time they had been so close to their dream cars.
In the second workshop, LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, the young people's problem-solving skills and technical understanding were put to the test. For an hour, the talented students dedicated themselves to building the legendary Ferrari F40 in Lego form – a playful but demanding challenge that generated a lot of enthusiasm.
After a 45-minute lunch break, the final workshop of the day followed: a tour of the Maranello Motors dealership and workshops, led by Sales Consultant Simone Herzog and Service Advisor Christian Lammers. This tour not only explored the dealership but also introduced the history of the Ferrari brand, and in particular, Scuderia Ferrari, the motorsport division. The young people gained fascinating insights into the brand's product range and philosophy.
The day concluded with a thrilling finale: the most attentive participants were able to demonstrate their knowledge in the big Ferrari quiz and win great prizes. But no one went away empty-handed – each young talent received an official certificate of participation as a memento of this special day. The concluding group photo capped off an eventful and inspiring day full of unforgettable moments.
The Ferrari Future Day once again demonstrated how many young talents are waiting to be discovered and nurtured. Maranello Motors is thus setting a strong example for the promotion of young talent and proving that a profession can be much more than just work—it can become a true calling.
