For the first time, Maranello Motors hosted an open day for young automotive mechatronics engineers. Over 20 young people accepted the invitation and were able to spend a whole day looking "under the hood" or behind the scenes at Maranello Motors.
The Future Day began with an introduction to the unique history of the brand, founded in 1947 and built on a legendary reputation worldwide with exclusive, sporty and luxurious road vehicles. Following this, three workshops awaited the potential young talent, each entertaining and challenging at the same time.
The workshops playfully introduced the young people to the working world of Maranello Motors, allowing them to test and demonstrate their aptitude. The tech workshop in the workshop, led by Maranello Motors' Service Manager, generated absolute enthusiasm. Using real Ferrari models, the participants received a practical introduction to the fundamental technical aspects of mechatronics training, accompanied by practical exercises. Being so close to these dream cars thrilled not only the young talents.
The applicants' technical imagination was tested in the second workshop. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY elements were used to playfully explore creative technical problem-solving.
While parents were able to simply observe their children during the first workshops, they were actively involved in the third part of the program. There was a detailed tour of the dealership and the Maranello Motors workshop. Led by Sales Consultant Simone Herzog and Service Advisor Christian Lammers, there was not only plenty for children and parents to see, but also many stories and facts about the Ferrari brand, its history, and the numerous models were shared.
Those who paid close attention during the workshops and the tour were able to score big in the final quiz, where there were great prizes to be won. There was also great joy at the final presentation of the participation certificates, which each of the FerrariTechTalents received.
